50 ml jojoba (50ml)
6 dr. essential rose geranium oil (Pelargonium gravaeolens, 5ml)
4 dr. essential lemon eucalyptus oil (Eucalyptus citriodora,10ml)
4 dr. essential mandarin oil (Citrus reticulata, 10ml)
2 dr. essential bergamot oil (Citrus bergamia, 10ml)
The dark season is difficult to bear for many people because they experience a strong disturbance in the circadian rhythm due to the limited daily sunlight. This can lead to fatigue, lethargy and even depression. The above-mentioned essential oil blend can help against this so-called "winter blues".
Rose geranium oil has a calming and soothing scent as well as a good antibacterial effect, which is particularly beneficial at this time of the year.
The essential oil obtained from the leaves and twig tips of the Brazilian lemon eucalyptus smells refreshing and strong. It is particularly suitable for brightening the mood of depressive people who withdraw strongly due to their depression and even hide away. This oil also has an additional antibacterial and antiviral effect, which is very convenient at this time of the year.
Mandarin oil can brighten the mood particularly well and is therefore preferably used as an antidepressant. It can be used to combat stress-related anxiety and to help restore people who have completely collapsed.
The essential oil of bergamot has a strong anxiety-relieving and calming effect on body and soul. Contrary to other citrus oils, it is not irritating to the skin. The slightly photosensitizing property is insignificant in the dark season.
Application: The oil mixture is easy to rub in, but can also be applied to the backs of the hands at night and thus be inhaled very intensively in the sleeping position of the hands.
Caution: Do not use on children (<8 y.) and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding!
Please note, that this blend includes single bottles of each respective oil and that it is not a finished blend.
Essential oils should never be applied undiluted, always mix it with a carrier oil (carrier substance).
If possible, test the patient for tolerance by having him smell the oil!
