With Arginin-diet Biofrid, Biofrid-Cosmetic GmbH & Co. KG provides a product containing the amino acid L-arginine, folic acid, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12. Arginin-diet Biofrid is a dietary food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for dietary treatment of arteriosclerosis and increased homocysteine levels. Folic acid, vitamin B12, and vitamin B6 contribute to a normal homocysteine metabolism. With the help of folic acid and vitamin B12, homocysteine is either broken down to methionine, or in interaction with vitamin B6, to the amino acid cysteine.

Ingredients (of 100g)

69.4 g of L-arginine, stabilizer sorbitol, separating agent magnesium-salts of fatty acids, 138 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride, 18.5 mg of folic acid, 0.2 mg of cyanocobalamin.

Recommended intake

3 times a day 2 tablets to be taken with a meal.

Purpose

For dietary treatment of arteriosclerosis and increased homocysteine levels by supply of L-arginine, folic acid, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12.

Notice

Arginin-diet Biofrid is intended for adults and, being a supplemental balanced diet, has to be used under medical supervision. Arginin-diet Biofrid must not be used in cases of severe cardiovascular diseases. Since there is no experience available with pregnant or lactating women and children, use by this group of persons is not advisable.

This dietary food is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy way of living. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep away from small children.

Since coating of the tablets was dispensed with, the tablets have to be kept protected from light within their blister, and to be taken out immediately before consumption.
